Jonah Malkin is a sports broadcaster based in Los Angeles who developed a passion for broadcasting at the age of four, where he frequently announced soccer games between his toy cars. This one-time hobby persisted into high school, where he gravitated to the broadcasting department and began calling the Friday Night Football games his sophomore year.

From there his affinity for broadcasting blossomed and crystalized upon his arrival at the University of Wisconsin- Madison, where he joined the student radio station 91.7-FM WSUM with his roommate. His desire to soak in and maximize every opportunity manifested in him being hired to call an array of sports on Big Ten Networks subscription platform, Big Ten Plus. He capped off his tenure by receiving the 2019 Wisconsin Broadcasters Association Award for the best radio play-by-play.

During his summer breaks, Jonah continued to hone his delivery through gigs with the Conejo Oaks, a collegiate summer baseball team in the California Collegiate League and the Venice Basketball League, a professional summer basketball league in Los Angeles. In search of on-air reps post-college, he and a colleague returned to LA and formed their own broadcasting and multimedia company, J&J Media Ventures, where they began announcing high school and junior college sports in Southern California. Through these experiences Jonah landed play-by-play jobs with several professional and collegiate organizations, for whom he still announces.

Jonah prides himself on being an extremely passionate, disciplined and driven individual who is constantly seeking ways to grow as a broadcaster and learn from his peers. He doesn't view sports broadcasting as a job, but the activity that brings him the most pleasure and joy, and he approaches every broadcast with that attitude in mind.
